Specification Account Manager

Are you a commercially minded relationship builder with a passion for design, interiors, and sustainable solutions? We’re looking for a Specification Account Manager to join our dynamic team and represent EGGER across Ireland’s most exciting architecture and design communities.

Your Territory:

 

With customers primarily based in Belfast and Dublin, you'll be ideally located within easy reach of both cities. This is a field-based role with regular travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and collaborate with colleagues across the UK and Europe.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Grow and manage key customer accounts within the specification market, building long-term partnerships.
  • Identify new business opportunities through proactive networking, event attendance, and industry engagement.
  • Promote the full EGGER product portfolio through engaging lunch & learns and regularly visiting customers.
  • Deliver exceptional service by supporting customer needs in coordination with commercial, product management, and technical teams.
  • Collaborate with product and décor teams to share customer insights and contribute to product development and innovation.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends, providing strategic feedback to support our commercial goals.
  • Track and manage project pipelines via Salesforce and co-ordinating with wider sales teams, ensuring alignment with team targets and reporting requirements.

 

What you bring:

 

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, Design, or a related field OR proven experience in sales, account management, or specification-led roles—ideally within interiors, construction, or materials.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build trust.
  • Technical understanding of decorative surfaces or a willingness to learn quickly.
  • High levels of self-motivation, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • A full UK driving licence and flexibility for regular travel across Ireland.
