Senior Tax Accountant

We are looking for a new co-worker who will join us as Senior Tax Accountant in our EGGER Gebze Plant.

What do we expect from our new team member?

• Having knowledge of local chart of accounts,
• Booking general ledger entries and other financial transactions in compliance with Turkish GAAP & Tax Legislation,
• Manage monthly account closings and ensure compliance with deadlines by proactive planning,
• Follow up timely tax payments and preparation of tax declarations, manage VAT return procedures, especially experienced in VAT declaration,
• Assist with all financial and tax audits,
• Coordinate and be in connection with Tax Office employees.

What we are looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or related departments,
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience,
• Having project management and leadership is an asset,
• Good command of writing and speaking in English is an asset,
• Organized, flexible and able to manage several tasks,
• Meticulous and able to perform job with accuracy,
• Good interpersonal skills, ability to work co-operatively,
• CPA certificate is preferred.
