VMI Specialist (Vendor Managed Inventory)

What we do expect from our new team member?

• Manage and develop Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) processes for assigned plants and product groups.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels, material availability, and service performance.
• Maintain and continuously improve MRP parameters, including planning types, safety stock levels, reorder points, and replenishment settings.
• Analyze demand patterns, forecasts, stock movements, and planning exceptions.
• Coordinate cross-company planning activities and support centralized planning concepts.
• Collaborate closely with PMM, Customer Service, Purchasing, Production Planning, and Warehouse teams.
• Drive standardization and process improvements across plants.
• Support VMI rollouts, training activities, and implementation of best practices.
• Create and monitor KPI reports related to inventory, availability, service levels, and planning performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and digitalization initiatives.

What we are looking for?

• University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in planning, supply chain, logistics, purchasing, or inventory management.
• Strong understanding of MRP, inventory management, supply planning, and forecasting processes.
• Experience with SAP (MM, PP, EWM, or related modules) is an advantage.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work in an international and cross-functional environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English; additional languages are considered a plus.
