For our Building Products Sales Team covering the South West.

Your Tasks

  • Develop new customer accounts whilst maintaining and developing existing clients within the housebuilder, timber engineering and builders merchant sector.
  • Liaise with distributors and customers as required with specific reference to supplying product information, training and support.
  • Generate and track sales leads, producing reports where necessary.
  • Ensure effective and accurate communication regarding the products, internally and externally.
  • Represent the Company at key events, functions, seminars and business meetings.
  • Assist in the development of product support initiatives, through from launch to successful market positioning and implement as required.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of key competitor information.

 

Our Requirements

  • Sales experience required. 
  • Degree/HND/NVQ or equivalent in Business Studies, Marketing or other related discipline or experience.
  • Full UK Driving licence. 
  • Technical understanding of Building/DIY products preferred. 
  • Intermediate standard of IT skills, with knowledge of databases and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Must be well organised, efficient and personable with a good, confident telephone manner.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
