What you'll be doing!
- Train in all areas of the Engineering Stores Department; including in the use of SAP MRP system conversion to planned order, monitoring levels and adjusting to history
profile. - Monitor and maintain stock to agreed levels and advise Stores Controller of discrepancies.
- Monitor and update inventory information using a computerised records system. Data entry of inventory checks and produce physical inventory documentation.
- Issue inventory, as well as process and maintain necessary records and related work.
- Maintain a professional, polite and courteous manner whilst dealing with internal and external customers.
What we need from you..
- Good standard of secondary education with a minimum of 5 GCSEs grade C / 4 or above, including Maths, English.
- Completion of an IOSH Health and Safety course (after you start with us!).
- Forklift truck experience is desirable, however training will be provided. Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must be well organised, efficient, personable and have a good, confident telephone manner.
- Completion of your assignments in accordance with your training.
