Dispatch Operator

City: Hexham   Contract Type: Full-time     Job-Code: 4345   Department: Transport & Logistics 

 

Hourly Salary: £11.81

Your Tasks

 

  • Prepare the necessary delivery documentation for the despatch of goods.
  • Operate the weighbridge software to enable accurate recording of inbound and outbound vehicles.
  • Coordinate the traffic between trailer park and factory site.
  • Ensure visitor registrations  are properly recorded.
  • Operate the switchboard outside of normal office hours.

 

Our Requirements

 

  • Intermediate standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Reasonable standard of secondary education.
  • Health and Safety Awareness.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work 12 hour shifts, days and nights.
