HR Advisor

Working as part of a dynamic HR function, you will own a specific remit to deliver a progressive advisory and support service to the Company on all Human Resource issues and to manage and implement key specialist projects.  

Your Tasks

  • Provide a comprehensive HR support and advice service to management and employees.
  • Manage general and specific HR queries and develop effective working relationships with internal and external parties, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements considering risk, HR best practice and policy.
  • Support managers and provide advice in relation to absence management, discipline, grievance, flexible working requests, family leave, changes to terms, etc.
  • Assist with international assignments/mobility, liaise with group colleagues, assist with sponsorship, visa, and work permit requirements.
  • Undertake strategic project work and contribute to continuous improvement measures.

Our Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management or equivalent.
  • Excellent practical experience working as a HR Advisor in a generalist role.
  • Associate CIPD membership.
  • Up to date with knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • Operate with a high standard of personal integrity and understanding of a need for total confidentiality and data protection matters.
  • Possess an intermediate standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel Outlook, Access) and with experience of SAP advantageous.
  • Good numerical, written and verbal skills, highlighting priority to attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A full UK driving licence.
