About the Role

This placement provides hands-on experience across UK and European logistics operations, giving you real responsibility and the chance to develop valuable industry skills.

What you’ll be doing


As part of our team, you’ll:

  • Support the Transport Planning team with coordinating and scheduling deliveries across the UK and Europe
  • Assist with daily and weekly operational planning, including route preparation and scheduling
  • Provide customs support, including documentation, data entry, and compliance checks
  • Help collect and analyse transport and customs data to identify trends and risks
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency and service
  • Collaborate with internal teams, warehouses, carriers, and customer service to ensure smooth operations


About You


We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Currently in the second year of a degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
  • A strong analytical thinker with good problem-solving skills
  • Proactive, organised, and self-motivated
  • Confident in using IT tools, especially MS Office 365, Teams, and Excel
  • An effective communicator, both written and verbal
  • Detail-focused, with a high level of accuracy
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn
  • Knowledge of logistics systems such as SAP (preferred but not essential!).
