Join us for a 12-month internship, gaining hands-on experience in Production Planning, Warehousing, and Transport operations. Contribute to process improvement initiatives, engage in logistics projects, and support the strategic goals of our dynamic Logistics department.

Your Tasks

 

  • Procurement Support: Contribute to supplier selection, negotiation, and order placement. Evaluate supplier performance and nurture relationships.
  • Logistics Coordination: Manage inbound and outbound logistics, schedule shipments, track deliveries, and resolve transportation issues.
  • Warehouse Operations: Engage in receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. Optimize warehouse layout and processes for enhanced efficiency.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze logistics data, identify trends, and prepare reports for management review.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage stock levels, conduct regular audits, and implement strategies to optimize inventory.
  • Process Improvement Projects: Lead or assist in projects to enhance logistics processes, implement new technologies, and streamline workflows.
  • Customer Service: Address complaints, ensuring timely and accurate responses to enhance satisfaction.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all logistics activities comply with regulations and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Participate in projects aimed at reducing the environmental impact of logistics operations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with production, sales, and finance departments to support seamless logistics operations.


Our Requirements

 

  • Completed a minimum of 2 years in a Degree or diploma in Logistics, Engineering or Business.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Pro-active and self motivated. 
  • High level of IT skills, particularly data preparation and analysis (MS Office 365, Teams and Excel preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Confident and enthusiastic.
  • Knowledge of logistics software (e.g., SAP) is a plus!
