Marketing Specialist

We’re now looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team in Hexham, supporting our Decorative, Flooring, and Building product categories. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with creativity, collaboration, and organisation at their core.

Key responsibilities include:
- Developing engaging content for PR, advertising, e-newsletters, and social media in line with brand and commercial objectives.
- Coordinating marketing projects and tools, including literature, POS roll-outs, and exhibitions.
- Building strong relationships with customers, media contacts, and external agencies (e.g., PR, photography, sampling).
- Collaborating closely with colleagues across departments to bring new and existing products to market effectively.
- Supporting with marketing budget control and customer credit processes.
- Monitoring and reporting on competitor marketing activity.
- Helping develop and document internal processes and procedures.
- Contributing to the development and delivery of communication strategies across all channels.
What we’re looking for:
We’re open to candidates from a range of marketing backgrounds who can demonstrate:
- Preferably a diploma/degree level education in a Marketing/Communications related discipline or a Level 4 Apprenticeship in Marketing however demonstrable experience in a related role is also an option.
- A passion for creative and strategic marketing.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence working with both internal teams and external partners.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A team mindset with the motivation to learn and grow within a supportive environment.
- Intermediate standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
