Join our team at EGGER as a Lamination Process Operator, where you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our lamination department. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong teamwork skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of production and safety.
The Lamination department is looking for a Process Operator to join their team working shifts. Your starting salary will be £15.52 per hour / £33,893.50 per annum.
Your Tasks
- Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to run every aspect of the Lamination department, to include boards/paper preparation, pressing, inspections, banding, fork truck and general warehouse duties.
- Operate as a member of the team ensuring that the department is maintained in a clean, tidy and organised condition.
- Complete reports detailing production and downtime, to include any specific data required relevant to shift.
- Liaise with the Shift Supervisor and relevant engineering department as to the condition of the production equipment or regarding any issues.
Our Requirements
- Fork Lift Truck Licence, or have operated a FLT in house, however training can be provided.
- Reasonable standard of secondary education.
- Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Able to work as part of a team with the confidence to also work autonomously.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills.
- Able to work a 4 shift pattern (12 hours days and nights).
