Process Operator (Shift)

Your Tasks

 

  • Operate as a member of a team in the Impregnation department.
  • Ensure that the work place, equipment, vehicles and machinery are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Attend any further training courses as required.
  • Complete shift reports detailing production, to include any specific data required relevant to shift.
  • Complete master sample records, colour comparison checks and compare SAP and RELAG stocks and rectify faults found.
  • Observe and comply with all safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety procedures and to ensure that safety equipment is in good order and used at all times.
  • Ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents/ accidents and hazards are duly reported.
  • Liaise with the shift supervisor and relevant engineering department as to the condition of the production equipment or problems.
  • When required, provide support for holiday/ sickness/ training/ maintenance cover, to help maximise production output and efficiency.

 

Our Requirements

 

  • Reasonable standard of secondary education. 
  • Able to operate a Fork Lift Truck, however training can be provided.
  • Possess a basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Health and Safety aware.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Good communication and team player.
  • Operate on a 4-shift pattern which includes 12-hour shifts days and nights
