Process Operator - Pre-Production

The Pre-Prodcution team have an opportunity to work as a Process Operator on double day 5 shift. This would be training and operating the Klockner machine. This role is Grade 3, paying £12.31 per hour (annual salary of £25,594). Please note that is is a fixed term contract.
Your Tasks
- Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to run every aspect of the Pre Production department and attend any further training courses as required.
- Operate as a member of the team in the Pre Production department, ensuring that the department is maintained in a clean, tidy and organised condition.
- Complete shift reports detailing production, to include any specific data required relevant to shift.
- Ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents/ accidents and hazards are duly reported.
- Liaise with the shift supervisor and relevant engineering department as to the condition of the production equipment or issues.
Our Requirements
- A reasonable standard of secondary education.
- Experience of driving a Fork Lift Truck/360 Excavator/Volvo Loading Shovel is advantageous, however training can be provided.
- Attend a one day Health & Safety course.
- A basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Able to work on a double day shift pattern (06:00 - 14:00hrs nad 14:00 - 22:00hrs, Monday to Friday).
