Process Operator

Your Tasks

 

  • Operate as an integral member of a shift team within Campact.
  • Ensure that the work place, equipment, vehicles and machinery are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to run every aspect of the processes of the Campact plant and operate plant machinery as per laid down operating procedures.  Attend any further training courses as required.
  • To be aware of all raw material stock levels, and to complete shift reports detailing usages, to include a detailed shift hand over with any specific data required relevant to shift.
  • Observe and comply with all safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety procedures and to ensure that safety equipment is in good order and used at all times. 
  • Ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents/ accidents and hazards are duly reported.
  • Observe and comply with the Company Quality Systems as detailed in the Quality Manual.
  • Liaise with the shift leader and/ or relevant engineering department as to the condition of the equipment or production problems.
  • When required, provide support for holiday/ sickness/ training/ maintenance cover, to help maximise production output and efficiency.
  • Make recommendations to line manager to continuously improve the processes, standard operating procedures and work instructions and associated forms to better achieve the prescribed outputs and support the implementation of continuous improvement activities.

 

Our Requirements

 

  • Fork lift truck and front loader license
  • Intermediate standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office Products 
  • Chemical plant process control experience an advantage
