Your Tasks

 

  • Operate as a member of a team in the raw board department.
  • Ensure that the work place, equipment, vehicles and machinery are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to operate every aspect of the mobile plant in the department and attend any further training courses as required.
  • Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to run every aspect of the raw board department and attend any further training courses as required.
  • Complete shift reports detailing production, to include any specific data required relevant to shift.
  • Observe and comply with all safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety procedures and to ensure that safety equipment is in good order and used at all times.
  • Ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents/ accidents and hazards are duly reported.
  • Observe and comply with the Company Quality Systems as detailed in the Quality Manual
  • Liaise with the shift supervisor and relevant engineering department as to the condition of the production equipment or problems.
  • When required, provide support for holiday/ sickness/ training/ maintenance cover, to help maximise production output and efficiency.

 

Our Requirements

 

  • Basic Fire training. (Desirable)
  • Loading shovel License (desireable) however training can be provided. 
  • 360 Timber forwarder grab license (desirable) however training can be provided
  • Fork Lift Truck Licence.
  • Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
