Product Manager (Building Products)

Your Tasks

  • Take full responsibility for the UK and Ireland P5 T&G product portfolio including the Egger advanced flooring system. 

  • Support with the co-ordination of new product introductions internally, liaising with relevant departments including Sales, Customer services, Marketing, Logistics,  Purchasing, Production, Quality. Aspects to focus on include Product Specification, Technical/Processing information, Availability/MOQ, Pricing,  Packaging and Sales argumentation.

  • Be the primary UK and Ireland point of contact for building products, keeping our team up to date with the latest changes and developments, assisting with resolving customer product and technical queries.

  • Support with development of strategic product documents for Building products, identifying opportunities/weaknesses and assess new markets/applications.

  • Conduct market research for building products through primary and secondary methods e.g. attending industry exhibitions, liaising with the Sales team, piloting builder studies. Use research to effectively benchmark products against the competition, supporting Quality with lab testing.

  • Develop relationships with key companies in supporting EGGER and our wider product portfolio.

  • Support the Sales team, accompanying key account holders on customer visits.

  • Deliver product training internally to our Sales, Customer Services and Marketing teams and externally to customers as required.

  • Support our Marketing team, checking product related content to ensure accuracy.


Our Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Product Manager or working within the UK building sector prefered.

  • Strong problem solving skills.

  • Must be well organised, efficient, able to plan and work to deadlines and effectively prioritise.

  • Must be personable and approachable.

  • High standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Keen to learn and develop.

  • Ability to train and inspire our teams and customers.

  • Knowledge of Product Design and Industrialisation processes and/or Product Management preferred.
