Receptionist

We are seeking a professional and friendly Part-Time Receptionist to join our team in Hexham. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a key role in representing EGGER UK with a warm and welcoming demeanor.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:30 PM - 5:00 PM
As the Receptionist you will:
- Operate the switchboard system and respond to all calls professionally and efficiently at all times.
- Greet and direct all visitors to the Plant in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure good communication and organisational skills to respond to queries and carry out work effectively and on time.
- Coordinate all incoming and outgoing mail and ensure priority and confidentially when required.
- Support the management and maintenance of the offices and meeting rooms to ensure good quality and high standards are provided.
- Coordinate the Company pool car requests to include allocation of keys and documentation, vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Provide administrative support for the Plant Administration Team Leader and Plant Administrator as directed.
- Work with Company data management systems i.e. CRM, SharePoint and Visitor Management to coordinate data efficiently and to deadlines.
- Provide holiday cover for the Receptionist who works in the morning session (which is reciprocated).
Before you start you will need:
- Good standard of secondary education
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred.
- Competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and excellent word processing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
