Regional Account Manager (EGGER Flooring Products) East/South East England

Based in the East Midlands/South East England you will develop new customer accounts and maintain and develop existing customer relationships, leading to acceptable growth in the specific market sector.  As an example you could be based in Nottingham, Leicester, down to the Home Counties.

Your Tasks

 

  • Develop new distribution customer accounts (Retailers & Contractors) and maintain and develop existing ones, within the laminate flooring market.
  • Assist in developing new independent supply accounts (DIY & DIS), maintain existing customer relationships and provide adequate growth.
  • Manage customer relationships at a senior level and assist with customer budget planning.
  • Liaise with distributors and customers as required with specific reference to supplying product information, training, merchandising and support.
  • Manage sales support to agreed budgets in relation to defined geographical sales area.
  • Generate and track sales leads and produce reports where necessary utilising existing CRM database procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of good and progressive customer relations and deal with customer complaints using the prescribed (ISO) procedure
  • Contribute to the awareness and understanding of the development of the communication strategy for the laminate flooring market sector.
  • Liaise with internal departments within the Egger group to ensure effective and accurate communication regarding the products e.g. Technical, Quality and Customer Services and Marketing.
  • Represent the company at key events, functions, seminars and business meetings.
  • Assist in the development of product support initiatives through from launch to successful market positioning.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of key customer and competitor information utilising existing CRM database systems.

 

 

Our Requirements

 

  • Degree/HND/NVQ or equivalent in Business Studies, Marketing or other related discipline preferred but not essential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of databases and Microsoft software.
  • Enthusiasm, drive and determination to succeed
  • Strong Customer relation skills. 
  • Ability to set and achieve individual and team targets.
  • Self-Motivation ability to work unsupervised.
  • Willingness to travel in the UK (including Ireland as some of your customer base will be there) and abroad, as you will have opportunities to visit some of our European manufacturing operations on occasion.
