Transport Management Specialist (Maternity cover)

This role is Matenrity Cover (12 months fixed term contract).

 

 

Your Tasks

 

  • Freight planning, processing special cases.
  • Raise and Issue relevant paperwork to selected 3rd parties transport companies.
  • Instruct 3rd party agents accordingly to adhere HMRC procedures and policy are followed when acting on EGGER’s behalf. 
  • Evaluations (monthly benchmarks, ad-hoc reports).
  • Out-of-hours support and absence cover.
  • Match suitable part-loads together within defined geographical and time constraints.
  • Advise Customer Service / Sales of delays or difficulties.
  • Liaise with Sales and Finance in case of credit-blocked deliveries.
  • Provide customers with notice-of-delivery when required.
  • In-house systems training e.g. SAP, BO-Analysis

 

Our Requirements

 

  • Intermediate standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Reasonable standard of secondary education.
  • Health and Safety Awareness.
  • Transport Qualification prefered – CILT level 1, 2
