WHM Shipping Operator

Your Tasks

 

  • Operate as a member of a team in the Warehouse Department.  
  • Load and unload vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.  
  • Check loads are correct as per documentation, and that boards are undamaged and correctly packed. 
  • Ensure that board packs are received and stored accurately and neatly in line with working procedures.
  • Participate in stock counts and validations.
  • Check all company property / equipment is used and maintained with due care and attention.
  • Ensure that stock and work areas are maintained in a clean, tidy and organised condition.
  • Observe and comply with the safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety procedures and to ensure that safety equipment is in good order and used at all times. 
  • Ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents/ accidents are investigated and hazards are duly reported 
  • Observe and comply with the Company Quality Systems as detailed in the Quality Manual. 
  • Attend training courses deemed necessary for this position.

 

Our Requirements

  • Fork Lift Truck certificate
  • Reasonable standard of secondary education.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to work 12 hour shifts, Days and nights.
