Sales Representative
A recycling and reprocessing brand that never stands still. For over 20 years Timberpak has sourced waste wood for the EGGER UK chipboard production sites.
As the largest user of recycled timber in the UK wood panel industry, EGGER has an ongoing requirement for waste wood. We therefore never turn waste wood away at our Timberpak Yorkshire, Timberpak North East, Timberpak Scotland and Timberpak South East sites.

Alongside a competitve salary, the role comes with a company vehicle/car allownace and an annual bonus payment.
Your Tasks
- Generate sales leads and enquiries either via physical visits or telephone calls and successfully converting these into new customer accounts.
- Maintain and develop existing customer accounts, with a specific responsibility/focus on a portfolio of “high value” existing suppliers in the waste wood sector.
- Develop good progressive customer relations with both existing and potential customers helping acquisition and retention of business.
- Provide technical advice, which could involve site visits or more structured training to customer site staff.
Our Requirements
- Well organised, determined, driven, efficient and personable with a good, confident telephone manner.
- Based at our Leeds operations, you must be willing to travel to support Timberpak Washington as required.
- After training, you will understand the Waste Hierarchy and European Waste Catalogue Wood Classification codes.
- Intermediate standard of IT skills, with knowledge of databases and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Experience of working in a sales role is preferred.
