BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:
- Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLCs to control machinery and automate industrial processes.
- Experience in installing, calibrating, and maintaining various sensors, transmitters, and control devices used in industrial automation.
- Knowledge of HMI systems and the ability to configure, troubleshoot, and maintain these interfaces for effective control and monitoring of industrial equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, diagnose faults, and repair or replace components as needed.
- Proficiency in understanding and working with various systems, including PLCs, DCS and SCADA systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and control system schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Have training and certification from Siemens as an advantage.
- Programming experience preferably PLC Siemens (Simatic S7-1500), HMI Siemens WinCC, VFD (variable frequency drives: Sinamics, SEW, Lenze).
EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven experience as a Controls Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, industrial networking, and control devices.

SCHEDULE DEMANDS:
- General schedule is an 8-hour M-F assignment, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.
- Occasional overnight travel to include flying, driving, riding or by rail.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 8-hours.
- Occasional Lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
- Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.
