Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and field-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our world-class automated particleboard manufacturing facility in Lexington, NC. This is not a desk job — we need someone who understands theory and who thrives on the shop floor, shoulder-to-shoulder with the maintenance team, leading by example and personally solving real-time production challenges.

In this role, you will take full ownership of electrical systems, from design and integration to troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. You'll be expected to step in physically, diagnose complex electrical faults, and implement solutions with your own hands. Your ability to take initiative and lead through action, communicate effectively with technicians, and remain calm and decisive during critical breakdowns will be essential.

Reporting to the Team Leader Maintenance Electronics, you will be a key technical leader and mentor on the floor — not just planning, but working with the electrician team.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:45am - 4:00pm & Friday 6:45am - 1:00pm

Develop and implement preventive maintenance routines and reliability strategies.
Monitor equipment performance and lead repairs or upgrades personally when required.
Maintain and optimize critical spare parts inventory.
  • Team Leadership & Example Setting:
Serve as a mentor and technical authority for the plant electricians.
