FP&A Associate Manager

JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include but are not limited to the following.
- Team Oversight: Supervise the FP&A team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
- Process Management: Streamline FP&A processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Training and Development: Lead the continuous growth and development of the FP&A team.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Reporting: Generate monthly financial reports and variance analysis and present to management.
- Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
- Collaboration: Work closely with department heads to gather financial information and analytical provide support.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or planning.
- Prior experience working with manufacturing company preferred.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Office Suite applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas) and financial software (SAP preferred).
- Valid driver’s license.
EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant certification (CMA, CFA) preferred.
- Compensatory closely related work experience required in lieu of degree.

- Time Management: Effective in prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.
SCHEDULE DEMANDS
- General schedule is an 8-hour M-F assignment, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.
- Occasional overnight travel to include flying, driving, riding or by rail.
- Moderate travel may be required for offsite visits or meetings to manufacturing plants to include Charlotte Timberpak Site.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 8-hours.
- Occasional Lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
- Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.
