HRIS Analyst

We’re looking for a motivated People Services team member to help drive EGGER to the next level of HRIS data management. This is a unique opportunity to use your existing expertise and dive deeper into those areas where you may currently be a generalist. This role supports all HRIS and People Services components of our US business and supports employees across the country with our primary population right here in North Carolina. There’ll be a strong emphasis of support of Payroll with HR and Talent Acquisition coming in a close second! You’ll be joining an established People Services and Total Rewards team in our North America Headquarters and state of the art manufacturing site nestled along the I-85 corridor and conveniently located within a short drive from Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Salisbury, and Asheboro.  The ideal candidate will have HRIS administration experience that has spanned across the multi-facets of HR and has supported multiple HR COEs. The role requires strong payroll knowledge and you’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills in areas where you may not have as much experience. EGGER utilizes SAP-HCM and is currently transitioning to Employee Central via Success Factors. This is a multi-phased project with the initial rollout going live now. While we strongly prefer SAP-HCM and Success Factors experience we will provide systems training for a strong, leading, candidate whose experiences closely match the requirements of the role.

 

MISSION / SUMMARY:

The HRIS Analyst works closely with the Sr. Manager, Total Rewards managing SAP-HCM within all aspects of Human Resources, People Services, and Payroll. Working closely with an international HRIS team, they act as the SAP-HCM subject matter expert and will assist all areas of EGGER’s North America transition to Success Factors’ Employee Central platform. In addition, this role partners closely with HRBPs, Payroll, and Benefits in the timely and accurate administration of employee data and reporting. The incumbent will act as a generalist in all areas of People Services HRIS platforms.

JOB FUNCTIONS

  • HRIS super-user facilitating upgrades, testing, and documentation as well as organization structure and position controls.
  • Data super-user managing employee data via systems including digitized records & files.
  • HRIS & ATS interface management.
  • Creates complex reporting using SAP query for both internal and external customers.
  • Varied payroll support processes, reports and feeds, including reconciliation, general ledger posting, tax deposits, and varied governmental required reporting.
  • Manages HRIS/Payroll direct deposit transmittal.
  • Works closely with global mobility in the transition of people through expat assignments. This includes working with external, global tax consultants, to assure that system reporting is compliant and correctly submitted.

BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong experience in HRIS is a requirement of the role.
  • Prior experience in SAP-HCM is strongly preferred but not required.
  • SAP Employee Central preferred but not required.
  • SAP Success Factors preferred but not required.

 

EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE:

  • Four-year degree strongly preferred or; 
  • Compensatory closely related work experience required in lieu of degree.
  • HRIS and/or payroll certifications preferred.
  • Five or more years HRIS administration experience with emphasis on payroll support.
  • Payroll tax, federal and multi-state.
  • HRIS interface with ATS and/or other HR systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS office suite applications with a strong emphasis on excel.

  • Ability to work independently or in team settings, with ease, and transition between the two seamlessly.
  • Analysis, both data and situational implications.
  • Organization and time management.
  • Follow up and follow through.
  • Strong communication.

 

SCHEDULE DEMANDS:

  • General schedule is an 8-hour M-F assignment, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.
  • Occasional overnight travel to include flying, driving, riding or by rail.
  • Some international travel may be required from time to time.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of up to 8-hours.
  • Occasional Lifting up to 20 lbs.
  • Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
  • Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.
