Human Resources Generalist

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the human resources (HR) generalist supports the day-to-day administrative operations of the company.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, onsite at Lexington Facility. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Respond to human resources-related inquiries.
  • Supporting payroll with tasks as needed.
  • Assist with new employee on-boarding and orientation.
  • Maintain employee personnel records.
  • Maintain federal and state compliance, e.g. by filing I-9’s, New Hire Reporting, etc.
  • Supporting HRBP with filing of employee documentation, e.g. disciplinaries, warnings, etc.
  • Supporting recruiting with daily administrative tasks.
  • Any other tasks as required.

 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years human resources experience preferred, but not essential.
  • Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the human resources field.
  • Understanding of state and federal employment regulations.
  • Understanding of personnel and compliance records management.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
