Internal Sales Representative
Are you passionate about providing exceptional service and building strong customer relationships? We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Inside Sales Representatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with customers, address sales inquiries, and contribute to a positive customer experience. Reporting to the Team Leader Customer Service, the role of Internal Sales Representative will interact with customers on a daily basis. Doing so, while ensuring delivery of excellent customer service through fast and accurate processing of orders, communication, and coordinating with other departments and sales representatives to resolve inquires.

Schedule: Monday - Friday
Starting Pay: $18/hour
JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include but are not limited to the following.
- Remain as first point of customer contact for general inquiries like pricing, products, availability, accounting and work in a professional manner while using the prescribed procedures.
- Build and maintain business relationship with clients by providing prompt and accurate service.
- Work together with sales representative to strengthen the relationship of our customers.
- Perform order management in SAP system, based on customer needs, internal rules and customer budget.
- Perform customer credit management (credit line monitoring, credit line increase requests etc.)
- Collect payments and clarify payment differences, together with the customer accounting department.
- Perform customer general and product complaint management.
- Other duties as assigned.
DELIVERABLES:
- Enter customer orders quickly and accurately.
- Respond to customer inquiries quickly and with a friendly demeanor.
- Pay special attention to details to ensure that the customer is happy with how we handle their orders.
- Adjust order dates based on customer requests or production schedules.
- Enter quality complaints if the customer experiences something that is not correct.
- Support efforts to digitize the customer ordering process via EDI, OCR, or Customer Portal.
BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years customer account management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Computer skills including MS Office Suite applications.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment, multitasking while keeping focus on the customer.
- Familiarity with all of the goods and services offered by the company.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Salesforce - preferred.
EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE:
- Associates in Business or Four-year degree strongly preferred or;
- 3+ years experience closely related required, in lieu of degree.
- Spanish – preferred but not a requirement.

SCHEDULE DEMANDS:
- General schedule is an 8-hour M-F assignment, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.
- Occasional overnight travel to include flying, driving, riding or by rail.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 8-hours.
- Occasional Lifting up to 10 lbs.
- Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
- Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.
