Key Account Manager - MDF Mouldings
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager specializing in MDF (Medium-Density Fiberboard) Mouldings to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and driving sales growth within the MDF mouldings division.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the MDF mouldings market, expanding the company's client base and market presence.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, including pricing, product positioning, and promotional activities.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences within the MDF mouldings sector.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales management, customer service, marketing, logistics and production teams to fulfill the sales strategy within your territory, and ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
- Account Planning: Develop account plans and forecasts, outlining strategies for growth and retention of key accounts.
- Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Manage inquiries for product information, samples and product quotes.
- Resolve customer concerns and regularly inform customers of their sales cycle and order status.
- Attend and/or exhibiting at trade shows or similar events.
- Track appointments, maintain and keep current detailed customer contact information and other sales information in CRM.
- Complete administrative duties in a timely manner as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience in sales and key account management within the MDF mouldings industry or related building materials sector.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully managing key accounts and driving sales growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Results-oriented approach with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience working directly with offshore manufacturing plants and familiar with incoterms and import processes.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; additional certifications in sales or account management are a plus.
- In-depth understanding of B2B sales, supply chain and logistics with strong emphasis on customer retention and business development.
- A valid US driver's license and Passport
- Computer literacy, including experience MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Salesforce.

SCHEDULE DEMANDS:
- General schedule is an 8-hour M-F assignment, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.
- Up to 30% travel to include flying, driving, riding or by rail; occasional international travel may be required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 8-hours.
- Occasional Lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
- Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.
