Marketing Communications Specialist
Reporting to the Head of Marketing for North America as the Marketing Communications Specialist, you will manage our external and internal communications and public relations. You will promote a positive public image and control the dissemination of information on our company’s behalf. Phenomenal communication and copywriting skills make a strong communications specialist. Experience in corporate communications and project management are important qualities too. Your enthusiasm and positive attitude will help you gain the trust of colleagues and external parties alike.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, on-site at Lexington Plant.
Responsibilities
- Develop effective corporate communications and marketing strategies.
- Manage internal communications (memos, newsletters, etc.).
- Draft content (e.g., press releases) for mass media and company website.
- Create content in support of company social media channels, the EGGER sales team and distributor partners.
- Organize initiatives and plan events or press conferences.
- Liaise with media and handle requests for interviews, statements, etc.
- Partner with EGGER Human Resources team in creation of recruitment and employee branding messaging.
- Guide, support and advise public relations and digital agency partners.
- Foster relationships with advocates and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with marketing team members and agencies to produce copy for advertisements, articles and other collateral.
- Serve as a member of the crisis communications team and support message development/dissemination.
- Facilitate the resolution of disputes among public or external vendors.
- Assist in communication of strategies or messages from senior leadership.
- And all other duties as required.

Required
- B.S. or B.A. in public relations, communications or relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in copywriting and editing.
- Proven experience as a communications specialist.
- Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software is an asset.
