Marketing Support Specialist

The Marketing Support Specialist position is responsible for supporting the development and execution of corporate marketing initiatives for the North American market, specifically with regards to the sample department. This position will report to the Sales Promotion Manager and will support all promotional efforts, including placing customer sample orders, interacting with customers and our national sales team and one-off marketing events

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am-1:30pm

Starting Pay: $19/hour

 

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with sales teams and customers and work quickly to help them meet their sample needs and requests either by email or by phone. This will include placing orders through SAP CRM system, providing order and tracking number information and answering other questions as necessary.
  • Accurately and efficiently input customer data into the SAP CRM database system for sample ordering and outbound communications.
  • Read and analyze corporate sample room reporting data and be able to troubleshoot website and offline order errors to ensure processing and shipping data meets customer satisfaction and corporate standards.
  • Work cross-functionally with departments in Austria and in North America to coordinate various tasks to achieve marketing and sample ordering goals.
  • Collaborate with departments in North America to process custom or special orders for sales team members and customers.
  • Assist with the execution of marketing related events, including industry trade shows, sales conferences and other company sponsored events through the accurate entry of visitor and attendee data into the SAP CRM database to allow for follow-up communication by our sales and marketing teams.
  • Help to ensure brand standards and guidelines are adhered to at all times in all marketing and sample activities across the company.
  • Occasionally assist in the execution of marketing tasks in the Design Center, which showcases the company’s product collection. Responsibilities include: making sure displays are in pristine condition (clean, organized, correctly labeled, etc.), managing and coordinating events and meetings.

 
Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service and/or marketing communications experience required.
  • Previous experience in B2B organization or call-center environment would be a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
