TM Dispatch Coordinator
The TM Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the dispatch department, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and facilitating communication between drivers, customers, and internal teams. Additionally, the coordinator will be required to check in/out of delivery trucks and secure the premises by patrolling all entries on to property while maintaining a safe and secure environment for all customers and employees.
Schedule: 12-hour, 6-6 rotating shift, 2-2-3 schedule.
Starting pay: $21/hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES
JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include but are not limited to the following
- Follow Dispatch processes and procedures to include maintaining accurate records of dispatch activities to include upkeep of all gate entry logs.
- Embody EGGER Core Values
- Facilitate communication between drivers with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate dispatch operations.
- Check in/out both delivery loads.
- Prepare and organize dispatch-related documentation, such as bills of lading forms, and produce scale tickets.
- Assist Security with guest and vendor visitors.
- Acknowledge system alarms and communicate any errors to Facility Maintenance.
- Assist in ensuring dispatch activities adhere to quality and safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
SCHEDULE DEMANDS
- General schedule is 12-hour, 6-6 rotating shift, 2-2-3 schedule.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time up to 12 hours.
- Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Reading computer screens or other electronic devices.
- Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.
- Tolerate indoor and outdoor environments and extreme temperatures.
QUALIFICATIONS
BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience as a dispatch operator or security guard.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills verbally and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn and use dispatch management software.
- Exhibited excellent customer service.
- Ability to handle high stress environments with competing demands.
- Sound decision making ability.
- Capability to remain focused on tasks in a production environment.
