Weekend Operations Manager

As the Weekend Operations Manager, the main focus of this role includes optimizing production output, ensuring stringent quality control, and implementing effective operational strategies. The Weekend Operations Manager will collaborate across departments to streamline production processes, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and uphold a safe working environment. Additionally, the role will involve overseeing maintenance on-call priorities and developing strategies to optimize equipment uptime and reliability.

Schedule: Friday - Monday, AM & PM shift available. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Leading and mentoring production and maintenance teams to uphold safety standards.
  • Overseeing production processes and optimizing workflow efficiencies.
  • Leading and coordinating continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring quality control standards and compliance with production specifications.
  • Managing and maintaining on-call schedules for maintenance and repairs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address production issues and implement solutions.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to enhance equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to assess production performance.
  • And other duties as required.

 

Qualifications 

  • Managerial experience required along with supervisory management skills.
  • Analyze KPIs and posses experience in analytical tools.
  • Knowledge of Health and safety Rules.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are important.
  • High standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience of SAP preferred.
  • Good written and verbal skills.
