Financial Analyst
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for providing management accounting information to the team on the performance of the company. Daily activities include cost accounting responsibilities, month end closing activites and overall cost analysis reporting.

Requirements
- Ensuring controlling processes are carried out in line with Group guidelines.
- Continuously developing and improving the preparation of high quality reporting.
Reporting
- To carry out the month end closing processes.
- To assist with the preparation of monthly reporting information for submission to local management Group Controlling department.
- To prepare other statistical reports as required.
Analysis
- To reconcile the actual to budget EBITDA performance on a plant level and investigate variances in detail.
- To analyze and investigate the actual vs budget spend variances on a cost center level.
Forecasting
- To assist with the preparation of the quarterly rolling budgets in line with Group guidelines (EGGER Planning System ‘EPS’).
- To prepare the monthly liquidity forecasts to be submitted to the Group Treasury department.
General
- Be a role model of health and safety
- To work with other departments in the US to ensure transactions are accurately processed within SAP.
- To attend meetings and training courses as necessary.
- To implement and maintain all safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety manual.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Cultural understanding; the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and other cultures in an international company environment.
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Must be flexible, organized and capable of performing multiple tasks.
- Must be comfortable working under strict deadlines.
- The ability to be clear on priorities and to shift between tasks on short notice.
- A strong work ethic including dependability, accountability and follow-through.
- The ability to work independently and as a strong team member.
- Experience with SAP in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong cost accounting and analytical experience.
