Learning and Development Specialist
Reporting directly to the Head of Human Resources for North America, as the L&D Specialist, you will provide support and assist with the Training HR Strategy for the North America Plant - LEX.

Responsibilities
- Talent Management - Facilitate the creation and implementation of a skills roadmap, policies and practices to guide leaders as they identify, engage, grow and retain talent. Coordinates training schedule with the hiring and training demands of the US Egger location.
- Performance Development - Coach and guide leaders during the performance management process to identify positive and negative performance trends for individuals, specific teams and groups. Collaborate with plant managers or groups of managers to leverage learnings for individual and organization next steps. Consult and advise the EGGER on creation and delivery of performance development training curriculum and materials.
- Leadership Development - Provide leadership development to new and existing managers through training, coaching and mentoring. Consult and advise the EGGER organization on development of leadership training curriculum and materials.
- Employee Engagement and Retention - Measure employee employee engagement and retention, identify trends and develop recommendations where appropriate to ensure healthy levels of engagement and retention from an L&D perspective
- Employee Relations - Design, plan, and implement employee relations programs, policies, and procedures. Cultivate good communication and positive relationships with employees and managers.
- Change Management - Drive consistent delivery of world class people programs within area of responsibility.
- Maintains successful vendor relationships including local, state and federal government as it relates to the provided training through grants.
- Maintains employee training records, reports on progress of employees during training periods and evaluates best delivery for training methods.
- Point of contact for group led internal trainings.
- And all other duties as required.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in an Learning and Development role with broad knowledge and experience in human resources management programs.
- Strong organizational development background with responsibility for coaching and culture.
- Experience in assessing, creating and implementing innovative solutions to increase engagement and retention in learning and development.
- Impeccable judgment and ability to balance the needs of the company and employees alike.
- Strong employee relations skills.
- Experience helping organizations scale up.
- Be able to work collaboratively with a multi-cultural work force.
- Strong computer skills. Familiarity SuccessFactors, SAP, and with the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or similar. A college degree is preferred but not required. Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
