Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager oversees all marketing activities of the company ensuring the marketing team effectively fulfils the organization’s marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Be a health and safety role model.
  • Managing all marketing for the company and activities within the marketing department.
  • Developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with corporate objectives.
  • Working closely with the Corporate Category Marketing Department and Sales Management to decide on an effective marketing strategy.
  • Overseeing the company’s marketing budget. Creating and managing the budget.
  • Recruit, select and ensure staffing levels are maintained. Training of new employees for the marketing team.
  • Carrying out competitor analysis to ensure the company’s marketing strategy is competing effectively.
  • Reporting on all marketing activities to the Sales Director NA.
  • Working closely with other departments and external service providers on company projects. Completing various projects at the request of managers.
  • Making sure that brand guidelines are adhered to in all marketing activities across the company. Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity.
  • Representing the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years marketing management experience, manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar position or company operating in a similar market.
  • Up to date knowledge of marketing best practice and creative marketing opportunities.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • An ability to lead and inspire the marketing team.
