Reporting directly to the Head of Human Resources for North America, as a Recruiter, you will provide recruitment support and assist with general HR tasks. This position is responsible for actively sourcing quality candidates using proactive methods, confirming candidate qualifications, and placing them in the right positions in the company. The Recruiter is expected to utilize their experience proactively sourcing talent through a variety of methods. Ultimately, the Recruiter's responsibility is to ensure our company attracts, hires, and retains the best colleagues to support our needs.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30AM-5PM



  • Build a great relationship with hiring mangers to ensure the right candidates are hired for their roles.
  • Responsible for developing and applying an in-depth knowledge of the job specifications to include experience, skills, and behavioral competencies needed for success in each role.
  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process including screening, interviewing, offer and pre-employement processes. Suggest improvements as needed to provide the best experience to internal and external customers.
  • Ensure the maintenance of accurate records and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment process, working within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS tools.
  • Leverage various resources - internet, community organizations, print media, formal/informal networks, colleges, trade associations - to directly and indirectly source qualified candidates.
  • Work closely with external vendors for advertising, specialized recruitment and other services as needed.
  • Promote EGGER Wood Products to candidates to ensure that the Company is represented in the most appropriate way to all candidates and drive the Company standards of behavior for all involved in the recruiting processes.
  • Provide general HR support as needed, possibly including benefits administration, employee relations, organizational development, and other areas.



  • 2-3 years of hands-on recruitment experience, including experience with sourcing candidates, interviewing, writing job descriptions.
  • Strong computer skills. Familiarity with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) such as Bamboo HR, SAP, and with the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • The ability to manage change and ambiguity as business needs change.
  • Be able to work collaboratively with a multi-cultural work force.
  • Has strong communication skills and the ability to be proactive to get things done.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Bachelors degree or relevant recruiting experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
