Supply Chain Administrator

The Supply Chain Administrator is responisble for the technical logistics movement of materials in the department. Coordinate resources of people, materials and machinery during the shift while maintaining maximum efficiency of the equipment and to follow standard operating procedures.  Assist in the achievement of operational targets while maintaining high levels of quality, safety and environmental awareness with the department. This department is the bridge between our Rawboard and Lamination departments.

Base Pay Range: $22 - $29 per hour to include $3/shift premium *depending on experience.

 

Schedule: Swing shift, 12 hours rotating, 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Undertand the production process and operate the machines.
  • Train production personnel to perform work assignments safely and efficiently.
  • Responsible for set-ups, work preparation, and quality assurance of won work and work-area.
  • Perfom necessary machine set-up, operation, changeover, adjustments and diagnosis.
  • Understand all functions of the high bay, kontra saws, schelling saws and pack line.
  • Provide the Production Manager support with detailed and accurate information as required, with regard to performance, efficiency, downtimes, etc.
  • Ensure automated equipment is maintained in a clean and organized condition.
  • Familiarize and understand how to properly operate the automated handling system.
  • Utilize the inventory tracking system.
  • Able to learn and utilize specific programs.

 

Qualificatitons

  • SAP and ERP experience. 
  • Strong computer literacy. 
  • Analytical and problem solving skills with ability to organize and interpret complex data.
  • Knowledge of work orders, schedules, and ability to prioritize and carry out tasks. 
  • Detailed oriented. 
  • Team player. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Experience with tools and machinary. 
  • Able to stand, walk, climb stairs and lift for long periods of time.
