Technical Production Manager

Reporting the to the Area Manager, the role of the Technical Logistics Production Manager is to assure the effective and efficient functioning of the Technical Logistics areas such as; Crane Warehouse,  High Bay Warehouse, and all PLC driven Transportation Systems between the production areas. Furthermore, it will be a key function, to operate and maintain the Warehouse Management System.

Responsibilities 

  • The Department Manager will have 6 direct reports (supervisors). 
  • To ensure all safety standards are followed and implemented when needed such as Lock Out Tag Out, maintenance work permits, and housekeeping. All PPE requirements followed and controlled by safety and the Department Manager. All employee training documents are up to date and maintained with support from the shift supervisors in accordance to EGGER standard and policy.
  • To ensure perfect quality from the production process to be in accordance to specifications to EGGER and customer standards.
  • Responsible for the Crane Warehouse, Kontra Saw, Pack lines, High Bay Warehouse capacities and balance of stock levels for each, schelling saw, door core investments and optimization of the process.
  • Responsible for building strong shifts to obtain the daily KPI set for the department.
  • Working with other departments to maintain proper material flow.
  • Must have understanding of Technical/Automation production processes.
  • Ensure high availability of the equipment for 24/7 production operations.

 

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of principles of production management.

  • Able to gain knowledge of the process of all equipment in the Technical Logistics Department and able to run the equipment.

  • Automation knowledge of the production process.

  • Advanced computer and system knowledge (SAP, EWM, MES).

  • Soft skill set experience.

  • Hard skill set for technical ability.

  • 2 years related experience.

  • 5 years leadership experience.
