Material Flow Automation Expert (f/m/d)
Drive the planning, concept development, and continuous improvement of material flow automation at EGGER – and implement innovative intralogistics solutions across our international production network.

Your responsibilities
- Drive automation concepts & projects: You develop and implement innovative solutions for material flow automation (e.g., conveyor systems, automated warehouses, automatic guided vehicles, packaging lines, industrial robots) from concept to realization
- Analyze requirements & design solutions: You collect and structure project requirements, processes, and data, and translate them into technical specifications, concepts, and feasible solution proposals
- Act as central expert & sparring partner: You serve as the key contact for material flow automation within Corporate Engineering and act as a trusted sparring partner for local project managers
- Coordinate stakeholders & planning phase: You coordinate internal interfaces (e.g., Corporate Engineering, IT, competence centers, local technical teams) and external partners, ensuring smooth collaboration throughout the planning phase
- Support implementation & optimization: You support local project teams during implementation and continuously optimize existing automation systems across plants
- Contribute to project evaluation: You support project management with budget estimates, concept evaluations, and decision-making foundations
What we are looking for
- Technical education (e.g., automation technology, mechatronics, mechanical or electrical engineering, industrial engineering) or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
- Several years of experience in automation, intralogistics, plant engineering, or a related technical field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex processes into practical technical solutions
- Structured, solution-oriented working style with a high level of ownership, persistence, and strong communication skills
- Experience with CAD tools and a solid understanding of warehouse management, material flow, or manufacturing execution systems; project experience is an advantage
- Fluent English is required, German is an advantage, combined with a willingness to travel internationally (approx. 10–20%)

For this position, a yearly gross salary of € 72,000 is envisaged on a full-time basis, with the possibility of overpayment depending on your qualifications and professional experience.
